Owner of Gardner Business Law and contracted general counsel to Tiny Mighty Communications

Gaylord Gardner works with small to medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs as outsourced general counsel. For small businesses, Gaylord fills the role of general counsel, handling all the day-to-day business legal needs of the company and providing a range of services that address many legal issues such as corporate legal guidance, contract drafting, contract review, trademark filing, intellectual property law guidance, employment law guidance, real estate purchase agreement review and negotiations, commercial lease review and negotiations, business acquisitions and sales, franchise law guidance, and software agreement development (software licenses and SAAS agreements).  

He began working at ICS Law Group in 2005 and managed ICS Law Group’s Business Services practice. He joined Lodestone Legal Group, PLLC in August of 2014.  At Lodestone Legal Group, Gaylord worked with small business owners and entrepreneurs through the group’s General Counsel Services program.

In 2022, Gaylord opened Gardner Business Law, where he continues to provide outsourced general counsel services to small and medium-sized businesses. 

Gaylord graduated from Lipscomb University with a degree in Biochemistry and from the College of Law at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a concentration in Business Transactions.  He is licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee. 

Gaylord lives in Franklin with his wife and two kids.   When he’s not working, he enjoys working out in the gym and cooking on his Big Green Egg.
