Owner of Morgan Visual Productions and contracted strategic partner to Tiny Mighty Communications

Nathan Morgan is a creative director leading a team of visual storytellers.

He studied photojournalism at Western Kentucky University and started as a staff photojournalist and multimedia producer in Northern California at the Record Searchlight.

Later moving to Los Angeles, Nathan apprenticed and assisted editorial and commercial portrait photographers the likes of Dave Lauridsen, Lauren Greenfield and others, sharpening his skills in portraits, lighting and watching how to pull off productions for advertising clients. He then spent more than five years documenting the face of the business community at the Nashville Business Journal, covering everything from the historic levels of commercial real estate activity to the changing faces of Nashville neighborhoods. 

In 2018, he started his own production company, supporting clients with photo and video content and helping to identify who, what, when and where their stories needed to be captured. Getting into the “why it matters” of the story lights him up and sets his work apart. Morgan Visual Production creates content to build connections using photography and video, because when you are seen and heard, you’re understood.

Nathan lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, three kids and one really oversized garden. When he’s not capturing moments for clients, he enjoys being anywhere on the water with family or diving into deep conversations with friends.
