Marketing Communications Associate

Sydney Goggans is a marketing communications associate for Tiny Mighty Communications. She is responsible for media and public relations, writing and research, digital communications, project management and client service.

At Tiny Mighty Communications, she manages projects with a 360-degree approach to marketing and communications. Some of her work includes her strategic media placements for the Nashville Child and Youth Collaborative’s “For Nashville’s Future” mayoral forum. Her pitching efforts led to the forum being hosted on WPLN’s “This is Nashville” podcast, which won a national journalism award from the Public Media Journalists Association for its forum episodes. Additionally, she has led successful digital paid and organic socials campaigns for the Nashville Public Education Foundation and the Tennessee State Parks Conservancy, enhancing their digital presence and creating engaging content to amplify their messaging and calls to action.

Before joining Tiny Mighty Communications, Sydney was a marketing assistant for the juice and smoothie franchise, I Love Juice Bar. At Juice Bar, she crafted social media campaigns, implemented local store marketing initiatives and performed market research. Sydney also has prior experience working in market research as an intern for BET Networks and NBCUniversal’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Sydney earned her bachelor’s degree at Spelman College, where she majored in English and pursued a minor in film/visual culture. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Sydney is an avid participator in food festivals and cultural events in her community. In her spare time, she loves watching her favorite movie on repeat and reading books on societal critiques and solutions.
